Terms of service

Draft of 14 October 2026

Draft for the invite-only beta. Highlighted parts are not decided yet.

These terms are the agreement between you and Padelapu. By creating an account you accept them. They are short on purpose. Please read them.

About Padelapu

Padelapu is a hobby project run by Jarno Tenni, a private person in Finland. It is a free beta, open by invitation. Features may change, and the service may have breaks or errors. If Padelapu closes, you get at least 30 days' notice by email to download your data.

Your account

Your videos

When you upload a video, you confirm that:

You are responsible for the videos you upload and for anything you share from them. We may remove a video that breaks these terms. Anyone shown in a video can ask us to remove it, as the privacy policy explains.

Video requirements

The analysis works on any video that meets these minimum requirements:

A video that misses these may give poor results, or no results.

What you allow us to do

You keep every right to your videos. You allow Padelapu to store and analyse them, and to show the results to the players of that match. We use your videos for nothing else. We use a video to improve the analysis only if you separately allow it.

Sharing

Matches are private by default. Only the players of a match see it. You can share a link to a match, or download a clip and post it yourself. When you share or post, you confirm that the people in the clip accepted being recorded, and you are responsible for that post.

The numbers are estimates

The analysis is automatic and makes mistakes. Every number from it is an estimate, and the pages say so. Numbers marked as verified come from hand-checked tagging.

Fair use

Do not:

Price

The beta is free. If paid plans come later, the price is shown before you pay, you choose whether to pay, and nothing is charged automatically.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time on your account page. Your data is then deleted within 30 days. We may close an account that breaks these terms. We tell you first when we can.

Responsibility

Padelapu is provided as it is, without guarantees. As far as Finnish law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost data or lost time. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We tell you by email at least 30 days before an important change. If you do not accept it, you can delete your account.

Law and disputes

Finnish law applies. A consumer may take a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board, kuluttajariita.fi, or to the court of their home municipality.
